Credit Problems?
We understand that sometimes life is unfair, and that people can get into financial difficulties in all walks of life. CCJ`s, defaults, credit card/ mortgage / council tax problems or no credit history can hinder the best of us, therefore preventing being accepted on some finance. Hire Purchase
Hire Purchase is an extremely popular way of purchasing your new vehicle because it is so simple.
To purchase a vehicle on Hire Purchase you just pay an initial deposit, and then make equal monthly instalments over any period up to 5 years, once you have paid your final payment full ownership of the vehicle passes to you.
If you want to change your vehicle before your agreement has ended, just contact the finance company who will provide you with a settlement figure. Once you have paid the settlement figure full ownership of the vehicle passes to you and allows you to change your vehicle and enter into a new agreement.

Personal Contract Purchase (PCP)
Personal Contract Purchase provides you with the benefits of driving a newer, higher specification vehicle for a lower monthly payment, it provides flexibility allowing motorists to change their vehicle more often.
Unlike traditional hire purchase, this is achieved by deferring a percentage of the total cost of the vehicle to the end of the contract. To purchase a vehicle on PCP you pay an initial deposit, and then make equal monthly instalments over a period of 1, 2, 3, or 3 1/2 years.

At the end of the period there is a `Guaranteed Minimum Future Value` (GMFV) for the vehicle, giving you the customer three alternative choices:

1. Pay the GMFV in one lump sum and take full ownership of the vehicle
2. If the vehicle is worth more than the GMFV, you can use it as a part exchange to purchase a new vehicle and use your excess amount as full or part deposit.
3. If the vehicle is worth less than the GMFV, then just hand it back to the finance company and purchase a new vehicle.
